PUNKY COWGIRL DOES CHICAGO

An abnormally hot October day in Chicago inspired a sassy, punky cowgirl look featuring a breezy DKNY tunic, a suede button down, a skull & crossbones scarf and an eclectic array of accessories. I am having a mega ankle boot moment, pairing them with leggings, jeans and dresses. The small heel is manageable for running around all day and gives my look a sporty edge to the look. Texture is key. To bring my black “uniform” to life, I mixed and matched suede, a silky, super long scarf and two necklaces (well, one is actually a belt) woven from a cotton/silk blend. The earrings, fashioned from re purposed bicycle inner tubes, were scored at the modern vintage show.
